Food: We ordered the sizzling shrimp, scallops, calamari and white fishand it was really yummy. The dish could use more sauce for the rice, though. We ordered 3 other sushi dishes, but I don't remember their names. There was a cooked one that was topped with crawfishand the other had green fish eggs.
Service: our waitress was really polite and attentive.
Ambience: the restaurant is too loud for my liking. I was yelling to have a conversation. Although it was really busy, the food came out in good time.
$: it was well priced.

We were introduced to Oishii by some friends.
Let me preference this with, we have been going to the same sushi bar for over 20 years.
We are very partial to the sushi bar we've been going to for so long because they are so good.
Oishii took us by surprise, with their customer service and how fast they got our food out even though the restaurant was very busy.
We have since tried three different locations, and have had the same experience at each location.
The Himalayan roll is a must during your visit.
There's sushi and other menu items like the orange chicken taste wonderful along with their different desserts we have tried as well.

I don't know who is writing these reviews because this place has horrible food.
We ordered through their website for delivery to our hotel just a few minutes down the street. We opted for delivery because we are staying in town for a doctor's appointment for my disabled son the next day. Easier to get delivery than to pick up or eat in with a disabled child who is more comfortable lounging in bed.
Anyways, we got two rolls, dumplings, and a chicken noodle dish. Each item was not good or inedible. Sushi was warm and the taste was horrible. And like I said, we were just down the street, the sushi should not have been warm. Noodles were overpowered with curry, so much that it was inedible. And the dumplings were just not great and super greasy. Everything had an overpowering lemon flavor.
I called the restaurant and they said they cannot refund me because it was delivered by DoorDash (even though I ordered straight through the restaurant's website), and I would have to contact DoorDash for a refund. Called Door Dash and they said they would refund me $12... My bill was $85!!!! I feel scammed and robbed. I ordered from this sushi place as a treat for myself. As a mother with a disabled child, I rarely get to treat myself nor can I afford to do so hardly ever. So, I read all of these wonderful reviews and thought, I never get to eat in Dallas so let's get some of my favorite food, sushi. I used to eat sushi a lot when I had more means, so I know what it should be like. This ain't it. Not only was the sushi warm, they sliced the fish so thin, (which is not how you serve sushi) that there is barely any fish on the roll. For $20 a roll, you'd better give me more than rice and crab meat. It was such a disappointment and a huge expense because I had to order food from the hotel lobby to feed my son because i wasnt aboutto feed him any of that.
I am so disappointed that Oishii could not make it right and give me a refund. I didn't even ask for a full refund, just for the rolls because they were not consumable. Just do yourself a favor, save your money, and don't eat here.

Great spot for a date night before a show or game at the AAC. Food was delicious, prices are fair and so many options! The staff is great- knowledgeable, professional and gave great recommendations. I always appreciate direction when there are so many menu items. I recommend sitting at the bar for a livelier more interactive vibe. If you want a more romantic setting the dining room is very dimly lit and totally different than the bar area. Super quiet compared to the bar. Bonus- park there and uber to the AAC and you will save about $30 in parking. You’re welcome!

The restaurant was busy for a Monday evening. Getting seated at the open kitchen took over 10 mins, which could have been avoided. Order taking was slow given most tables were occupied. However, the food came out really quick.
The food tasted great right from the appetizers to entrees. The menu is exhaustive with options for Sashimi, Sushi, rolls, pho, fried rice & more. The drinks menu offers cocktails, wines, sakes and a full bar service.
The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant with tables and open kitchen seating.
Pricing: Moderate high for food, high for alcoholic drinks.
Overall a great place for some good sushi. Definitely recommend this place.
