We are from out of town and were very excited to try their lobster rolls that I kept hearing about. The service was absolutely terrible. We were the first table sat for the day and ordered bloody marys. We sat as 6-7 tables that sat down after us got their bloody marys before we ever received ours. Then, they finally came out, and we asked our waitress for a bottle of Franks hot sauce. We waited 5-10 minutes, and we still hadn’t gotten the hot sauce. So, as a different waitress (Dawn) was walking by, we asked politely if we could get some Franks hot sauce. She stared at us and then went “please?” and waited for us to say please before she would go get us any. Are we 2 years old? We are grown women, and we asked you politely since our waitress hadn’t brought us any. We weren’t drinking our drinks because we needed the hot sauce, and you were heading to the kitchen anyway, Dawn. I was fuming because we were not rude at all to this woman, and she ruined our dining experience. Then, our waitress came back out and informed us that they were out of coconut breaded shrimp that our table ordered. All in all, the food was absolutely delicious. We got their lobster roll, New England clam chowder, steamed shrimp, and classic mussels. Props to the kitchen crew for the delicious food, but the waitresses definitely need to be nicer because otherwise it doesn’t matter how good the food is if we have a bad experience due to them and their attitudes.
