St. Cecilia, the latest restaurant from Atlanta chef-owner Ford Fry, serves coastal European food in Buckhead's Pinnacle Building.
After helping Fry develop a number of other concepts, executive chef Brian Horn has settled down in a kitchen of his own at St. Cecilia. He and his team cook simple and thoughtful dishes that are inspired by the coastlines of Italy, Spain, and France.
The menu has plenty of options, but seafood and pasta lovers will be especially delighted. Start with small plates like fresh crudo, cured meats, hearth roasted octopus, and salt cod beignets. Then move on to seasonal entrées, like Maine sea scallops and skate wing Milanese with artichoke and caper berries. Or choose from a rotating selection of handmade pasta dishes, from classic spaghetti with jonah crab and serrano chili, to rich gnudi with house ricotta and brown butter. And after dinner, sample a few of pastry chef Chrysta Poulos' Italian-inspired desserts, like panini di gelato and bomboloni doughnuts ï¬lled with housemade ricotta and honey-cinnamon syrup.
