My first time visiting and I’m ashamed I hadn’t been here sooner as an Arlington native! The food was delicious. We had the beef stroganoff and pierogies. Both delicious and flavor and temperature perfect. I felt like I was having a cozy, home cooked meal 🩷 The restaurant was clean and welcoming. The staff was kind and attentive. 11 out of 10 recommend everyone visit this place!

Stopped in as they had a few German dishes. Food was not authentic German, but had really good taste. Sourkraut had a sweet garlic taste, with carrots in it... Was different but tasty. Wurst was good, and rather large. The fries are more like grilled potato slices, and pretty decent, could use a bit more seasoning. The schnitzel was a great cut of pork, breaded and pan fried on the light side. Was really good though. The yager gravy on the schnitzel was a brown gravy with small chunks of mushrooms in it. The gravy didn't have much flavor, reminded me of biscuits and gravy type gravy, except brown. Believe it could be spiced up a bit, and salted to taste. All in all, it was a really good dinner, and glad we stopped. Atmosphere was ok... Music playing sounded like an upscale restaurant, but definitely did not appear as such. It was clean, and the staff friendly. Food and atmosphere follows more of a Russian, Ukrainian vibe, and choices. I'm not mad though, thought the portions were good, prices good, service and food were good. We were looking for more German selections, but this was certainly a good find regardless. They do honor veterans as well.

Amazing food, great customer service, authentic Eastern European/Russian cuisine that’s a rarity in the surrounding area, and barebones but modernized interior that teleports you into the motherland. When we had our dish, there was a man playing live Christmas music on the accordion. We ordered the Meat Sampler platter (beef stroganoff, Hungarian goulash, a plate of Russian home fries, and a beef meatloaf stuffed with mushroom topped with mushroom gravy) and the Cake of the Day - Napoleon cake. Each dish on the sampler platter tasted great. I normally don’t like meatloaf but this one makes me like it. The stroganoff and goulash were very rich and creamy. The napoleon cake was light and flaky with the texture of crushed graham crackers. Highly recommend. Not too sweet despite being glazed with condensed milk with a side of whipped cream. High quality food that obviously is made with a lot of love and care. The atmosphere and customer service help make you feel at home, even when the culture is unfamiliar to you.

How happy I was to find out this place existed! I have been hankering for some pelmeni's for over a year. I made a trip out to Arlington for some errands and stumbled upon this location. The restaurant is immaculately clean including the restroom! The high level of detail to cleanliness shows how much care they put in the place and food. Our waiter was very nice and patient. He answered all of our questions and provided some great recommendations. We went with the cabbage roll and pelmeni. Both were fantastic. It was really hard to choose from everything else on the menu. I plan on making one last trip out here to try their other items before I leave.
