I love this bistro. I visited Boston and went the first time and couldn’t leave town without visiting it again. The food is excellent with impeccable services. The restaurant is spacious and well decorated. On the second floor it offers a nice view of Boston Public Park. Will always come here every time we visit this lovely city.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary and had a great experience in Bistro du Midi. The food was so delicious, we enjoyed it and we were really stuffed. The venue was nice and clean. One thing was off was the atmosphere, it was a little bit loud, nevertheless everything was great. Thank you Bistro for wonderful experience.
This place is iconic Boston. Downstairs is casual, with a bar and dining room perfect for brunch or business. Upstairs is formal with a dining room overlooking Boston's Common. The menu is classic and consistently delicious. Always get the tartare, might be the best in the city.
Book at the bistro downstairs for the vibes. Best tuna nicoise salad hands down! The chocolate croissant was dense, buttery, and flaky all at once. We also really enjoyed the croque madame and the ricotta pancakes. Service was excellent! Go on a Saturday so you can walk the farmers market right across the street.
Came here for a group dinner and was not disappointed- in addition to their standard menu- they had a tasting menu that I was able to order a la carte style from. For appetizers we shared the large seafood platter (that comes with tuna tartare), the octopus (somewhat bland and tough- can skip this one next time) and the beef tartare. I opted for the white truffle tagliatelle and the lobster as my entree- both were delicious!
