Located in a historic town brimming with tales of the past, this wonderful restaurant offers a blend of elegance and entertainment. The outdoor ambiance is enchanting, with a welcoming employee greeting you at the entrance. Upon arrival, a fee of around $30 grants access to the live performance, setting the stage for an evening to remember. The restaurant itself is a sight to behold, with cleanliness and sophistication evident in every corner. The upstairs bar boasts a balcony view that adds a touch of charm to the experience. While the drinks are of good quality, the prices may raise eyebrows, with each beverage costing approximately $20. However, a silver lining is the dinner special which features a 3-course meal starting around $89 per person, offering a decent value for the delectable cuisine on offer. The true highlight of the evening was the live performance by Tinos Production showcasing exceptional musical talent that captivated the audience. This performance alone made the visit worthwhile, leaving a lasting impression of their artistry. Despite the enchanting experience, the steep prices may deter frequent visits. Additionally, the unexpected gratuity percentage added to the bill, i believe not disclosed in the menu or website, left a slight disappointment. This practice may fall under the new SB478 regulations aiming for transparency in pricing. For convenience, valet parking services are available in front of the building, albeit likely incurring an additional charge. While this restaurant offers a unique and memorable experience, the overall cost may limit return visits for some patrons. This is my personal opinion and recommend anyone to visit this place them self's.
Saw The Tino Productions show. Great band! Everyone danced...dinner was delicious. After dinner, we wanted to see upstairs. The maitre d took us in the elevator and told us great stories. He stayed the whole time we took pictures. He even took a few for us. Get dressed up and have a romantic date night. Dinner, dancing and great music.
A fantastic night of dancing, great food, big band magic, all set in a grand ballroom that evokes a sense of grandeur and style. I cannot recommend this enough. We saw Lizzy and the Triggermen there, who blew the roof off. As for the food, the tuna tartar was delicious, the veal piccata and branzino were both excellent, and the desserts were surprisingly elegant and capped the evening perfectly. Drinks are not cheap, but they’re well made and generous. All in all, an evening of high style hard to match anywhere in LA, or New York, for that matter. Cannot recommend enough.
Go! Just go to experience a step back into an early 1900s architecture marvel. It was a time when craftsmanship and esthetic beauty would surround you from floor to ceiling. This restaurant/ entertainment venue is well worth the drive into LA. Valet parking allows you to step from your car into the fabulous Cicada club. Service is top-notch. Food is delicious, and the presentation alone signals you're in for a treat. The club has a series of top-tier bands performing for your dancing pleasure . The wood dance floor allows dancers to perform some amazing footwork. If you want to just go and listen to some good music, pay the $30, knowing you will have one heck of a good time. Go!
The ambiance is stylish and sophisticated, perfect for both a casual night out or a special celebration. The menu features a wide variety of delicious dishes, and the cocktails are top-notch.
