We were going through Hamilton on our way back home and wanted to find a spot for dinner. We found Undefined online and trued calling to make a reservation but couldn't get through but luckily we were able to make an instant reservation through open table. We were instantly greeted when we arrived and sat at our table. The restaurant ambiance was great, very cool and modern. We ordered drinks and an app along with our mains. I was set on getting the Dan Dan noodles but was told they were sold out. It was only 5pm so I questioned the waitress on how they could be sold out already and she explained they ran out the day prior which is why they had none. I decided on the salmon and my husband selected the risotto. Each item was presented beautifully and I loved the small twists on each dish. You could taste the freshness in each bite. Service was attentive and friendly from start to finish. Rating 4 stars only because they did not have all the items on the menu available but we would definitely recommend and will be back to hopefully try the noodles.

We opted for a selection of starters as our main meal, and it did not disappoint. The Bore dumplings were packed with flavour, and the tartare was equally impressive—both dishes left us wanting more but we were stuffed. Kennedy, our server, was exceptional! She’s attentive, knowledgeable, and spot-on with her recommendations. The cocktails were the highlight of our lunch, beautifully crafted and full of unique flavours. A fantastic experience from start to finish! The brownie and pumpkin creme brûlée were fantastic. I’ll be returning! Thank you ;)

the food itself was so mediocre. my family ordered different dishes and each one was nothing special. if you order steak or salmon, trust that the greens or whatever side component will make up 70% of the meal. two people in my party ordered steak, including myself, and we both ordered it medium rare but as you can see from the images, one is cooked medium. the portions we received were also tiny. i cannot fathom how this restaurant has such a high rating; it’s one of those spots that sells itself based on the vibe rather than the food.

My wife and I shared a wonderful dining experience at Undefined last weekend. This is a great restaurant, smaller in size and with a great vibe. The service was amazing too, thank you Hannah. I can’t tell you my favourite dish, because they were all amazing. We began with a couple of cocktails, The Race Against Time and The Secret Handshake. Both were great and far for the ubiquitous. For starters we shared the Wild Boar Dumplings (and potentially my favourite), Smoked Tartare and Chips. The second also had a great presentation. Our mains were the Hanger Steak and the Risotto. The steak was cooked perfect for me and the risotto was one of the top two I’ve ever had. Our experience ended perfectly with the Warm Sticky Toffee Pudding and a Sunday Night in Dublin. I highly recommend dining here, especially for a date night.

Great experience, Now I see why they have a 4.6 star rating on Google. We were skeptical at first but the experience was the best we've had in Hamilton and also the portion sizes, the food quality and quantity and the attentiveness of the wait staff was great on our visit. The menu options were pretty great as well. 100% recommend this spot and will return !! Thanks to Undefined for a great brunch experience.
