Located on the main drag (King Street) in downtown Charleston SC. Service was mediocre at best. Place was reasonably clean. In regards to the menu, there were limited choices and lacked even plain bread to go with their pasta meals. Dishes were expensive and no sides included. Had the Carbonara. It had decent flavor and was an adequate portion size. Not bad for a quick meal and/or a pizza pie. With just a little bit more attention from the staff and a few adjustments to the menu, this place could easily go above average.
Cute car theme, good service, just watch out for those left over pizza crumbs on the bench seats! Pizzas were okay, a bit on the salty side for my taste, carbonara was a little too heavy with the parmesan but at least not soupy with sauce. Best thing I had were the meatballs - great mix of meats with a hearty sauce served with a tasty white pizza.
Awesome Pizza Restaurant - I had the Grand Prix pizza which was so good. Nice surroundings, welcoming and friendly staff with quick service. You can sit at the bar and watch the pizzas being made fresh to order.
Stopped in on a whim for dinner, on our quick 2-day trip to Charleston. So glad we did! Cool ambience. Wood-fired pizza. Great atmosphere. Anna, our waitress, was very nice, and the pizza was absolutely tasty! Highly recommend this spot on King St.
The service was excellent, the food just decent. At $120, incl tip for 2 adults and 2 teenagers, it was overpriced. Stay away from the beet "salad". It's literally a massive bowl of beets. A salad it is not.
