Fancy Dining here so it's definitely kind of pricey but some dishes are nice. If you ever decide to dine here, you can get the following: Beef Tartare - It's interesting how they added a tortilla chip as the base. Gives a good crunch to the raw beef Marinated Pork Blade Steak - Found this very tender and filling. Something you can savor. Some things to avoid: Corn - Totally not worth it and hard to eat Lamb Pastrami Ribs - They made it a bit too salty and meat is slightly tough
There wasn't a single thing on the menu (from the 10 dishes tried) that we didn't like. Each menu item was done quite well. I really enjoyed the striped bass, Cod, and chocolate dessert the most!
A great spot. Food was delicious. We had the bacon cheeseburger, tri tip, butter lettuce salad, and a side of mac n cheese. Anthony took great care of us at the bar! Bonus is the happy hour until 6p on the weekdays!
One of the important boxes that a restaurant should be able to check off is consistency. After probably being almost a decade of stepping foot in this place I can confidently vouch that the flavors are just as good as I remember. How we forgot about this place I don't know. Fast forward to today with now two young kiddos craving oysters - we meet again. We came early during happy hour and the service was on point. I don't think we even had one set waiter. Everyone seemed to work together to help make our experience great. We dined happy hour style and still left with tummies full and satisfied. The oysters were quality and nice and briny like I like it. The seafood was clean and fresh. Seems silly to say this but I've been to other restaurants where that was not the case. All their food was delicious but.... one honorable mention is their french fry. Oh the taste is just as I remembered years ago. Perfect saltiness, perfect cut and thickness, perfect crunch to softness ratio, and do not forget to dip it in their amazing aoili sauce. Bring a date, bring a friend, bring your kiddos. No matter the occasion this place fits the bill.
Parkside is an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking a terrific dining experience in Austin. It’s a warm and inviting atmosphere with a great, approachable menu. The cocktails are unique and very tasty, but the highlight of our visit was Chef Phil and his incredible menu creations. His talent and passion for food are evident in every bite Not only is Chef Phil a wonderful chef, his dedication to customer service is unmatched. He took the time to personally check on us, making sure everything was to our liking and even sharing some of the inspiration behind his dishes. Every plate that came out of the kitchen was a masterpiece, but the standout for us was the Parmesan Crusted Lamb Ribs. It was sooooo good! Thank you to the Parkside team for an amazing meal, and a huge shoutout to Chef Phil for making it such a WOW. We’ll be back soon to enjoy more of your creations!
