First time here - ordered the Italian sub for $17 and unfortunately must say... This is one of the most expensive/average tasting sandwiches I've ever had in Chicago. The presentation is great but the flavor is just not where it should be. I've been to their sister location up north- publican quality bread and have had very pleasant experiences with the sandwiches there. Was expecting better from this location since it's in West Loop but was highly disappointed.

It was my first time trying publican quality meats, I will say every dish was worth every bite! The surprise was how tasty the tomato soup was and how even the pickle spear made you want to have another as it had a little kick! The soup and the porchetta bread were excellent together!

In my quest for the very best sandwiches, this place in the West Loop is not to be missed! My first mortadella sandwich was outstanding! Delicious flavors, perfect sized portion. Can’t wait to come back!

Five stars but with an asterixis. This is definitely one of, if not the, highest quality delis in Chicago. However, they used to have the BEST turkey sandwich I've ever had but they changed their recipe. Publican, I am begging you, please bring back the OG turkey sandwich!

Anaya is the best charcuterie butcher in all of Chicago! We came in and asked for the best and it was made! What a wonderful plate of meat and cheeses. Highly recommend. Amaya is fabulous. So personable and has such a passion for this. We WILL be back!
