What a great find in the middle of the Asian neighborhood! We had some of the best tapas here and very close to what we had in Spain. We tried 6 tapas plus the Basque cheesecake, and they were all excellent. The service was wonderful and friendly. The chilled asparagus was so tender and tasted great with yougart. The green hummus was different than your regular hummus, and better. The steak was tender and flavorful. I can go on and on, but you need to try them yourselves. The atmosphere reminded us of small bars in Malaga. Highly recommended.
We had such a great time here with our group of five. Ordered almost everything on the menu and it was all delicious. I can’t say enough about the cheesecake too. Try it all. So good and the service is 10/10.
Another Jewel in the Raku crown. Sad to see desserts Raku closed but so happy this is now here. Great sherry selection, great wine list, delicious pintxos and charcuterie. Everything is thoughtfully prepared and presented. I was also pleasantly surprised to see tortilla on the menu and it’s so hard to find at Spanish style restaurants on the west coast. If you love tapas, this is a no brainer.
Delicious tapas and tasty wines & cocktails at Casa de Raku. My friend and I went to this hidden gem and enjoyed their grilled octopus, steak, and potatoes bravas. And, don’t forget the Basque Cheesecake. Authentic and light! The service was fantastic. They’re friendly, know their gastronomy, and we had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for the genuine hospitality. Their specialty drinks are superb too! Please try the Passionfruit with Tequila soaked cherry! Unbelievable! So refreshing. We’ll be back. Thanks again!
Loved the atmosphere and the food. Went Tuesday night so it was pretty quiet to enjoy the food&wine and talk with a friend. I loved the octopus.
