This was so damn good. I had the sliced brisket sandwich, the baked beans and the coleslaw. The brisket was juicy and tender (the Memphis sauce inhanced the flavor even more), the baked beans were smoky and delicious and for someone who doesn't typically like coleslaw, I liked it a lot. Great customer service as well. I see why this place is so highly recommend!

Been eating here for 7 years, literally always the same amazing BBQ. The other places here in Chicago that call themselves BBQ is a joke. Where I’m from, an average BBQ joint has to be amazing or it’ll close down in a second. I’ve tried quite a few BBQ places in Chicago, and I’ll say that nothing can be compared to Smoque. Their prices, while not cheap, are absolutely worth it. They don’t cut corners- hence the price. Their French fries are made from heaven, and ANYTHING you order here, brisket, pulled pork, chicken, you name it, has never ONCE been anything short of amazing. If I had one wish, it would be to have a genie give me a Smoque for Life Pass, where I walk in and can eat anything for free for the rest of my life… but I’d run them out of business by eating the whole restaurant… 1 million/10

In the past I wasn't too fond of Smoque BBQ, but I decided to give it a try again after 6yrs and they definitely improved. The brisket was extremely tender and well seasoned, and the pulled pork was flavorful. The cornbread and Mac n cheese was passable, but the BBQ Gumbo was EXCELLENT!!!!!! I'm picky with gumbo but their gumbo is definitely top quality. If you want some good BBQ, Smoque is your place.

Visited 9/6/24 Customer service & food was outstanding. Ordered the BBG gumbo, peach cobbler, bread pudding, 1/2 chicken platter and 1/2 Brisket and pork platter. Staff stood in the dining room waiting to serve customers. Pedro was on point. Their mgr Joycelyn made sure every customer & worker was good.

I’m very picky when it comes to smoked food at restaurants. I’m often let down. But NOT HERE!!! This place is FANTASTIC!!! The service is great, very friendly people!! Everything here is TOP NOTCH!!! The only thing I will say is, it’s packed!! LOL that’s a good thing though! Definitely means they know what’s good and what the people want! 10/10!!!! Get to this place for dinner NOW!!! Tell your friends!! Hurry!!! Now!! Yes you! Go tell some people about this place!!!
