It was my first time visiting Atlanta coming from Arlington, TX. I wanted to treated myself to some live music and after doing some research, I came across this place. I wasn't disappointed with my decision. I was seated ten minutes after arriving. Shortly after being seated, the band and the signer were on stage performing. The performance was so good that I didn't want my food until they took their break. My drink and food was amazing. I'm happy that I went and I would recommend this place to anyone would want to listen to live music and enjoy good food. It is added to my favorites list. Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
On a small vacation to Atlanta and I came to this place because it was close to my hotel. So glad I made reservations, because they had a wait. My reservations were for 830 and I was seated by 8:35 On a Saturday night😮. My waiter name was William, and he did an amazing job. He made recommendations, He didn’t bother us too much, but tentative when he was in our presence. I ordered the bacon wrap, shrimps, with the homemade macaroni and cheese. And my boyfriend ordered the famous fried chicken, with the collard green. Everything was hot, Seasoned and superb🙌🏾. This place, checked all the boxes, from amazing food, great service, great atmosphere, and the band. The band played everything that moves you. Definitely glad I stopped by🫶🏾
Went here for a quick brunch since I was staying close by at the Ritz Carlton Atlanta. For Sunday morning it wasn’t so busy and I was seated rather quickly. There’s lots of seating and there is a stage towards the back of the restaurant. There is a separate charge /fee for the entertainment. (Always read the signs when you enter a restaurant). The restaurant is very dark, woody atmosphere. I wish it was a bit brighter and livelier atmosphere and setup. They have a projector screen playing YouTube videos of music ranging from 70s, 80s and 90s hits. Later on there was a live performance on stage. He sang and played the piano beautifully. FOOD: I love fried chicken and waffles for brunch and that usually my go to since it’s hard to mess up at new restaurants, and that’s exactly what I got. For a drink I had the Miss Ceely's punch Cocktail in pineapple flavor. Both were great. This chicken was seasoned very well. The waffle was fluffy and toasted just enough. For me it was a large serving and I got to go box. SERVICE: Everyone in the restaurant was nice. My server was Anthony and he was very good at explaining the dishes and the drinks. He was amazing at recommendations and checking in. He was great! An amazing server!
The service was great. We had a very attentive server named Will who did us well. Atmosphere also amazing. The pianist who was there for brunch, was an absolute vibe. The music wasn't so loud, so we could still hear each other speak. I'll go back specifically for the appetizers! Omg they were amazing. I'd recommend the hush puppies, fried green tomatoes, and the bacon wrapped shrimp. They were all top tier!
An amazing introduction to Atlanta! I visited this restaurant for the first time during my graduation trip, and it was the perfect way to celebrate! The food was exceptional—my first time trying soul food, and I absolutely loved it. The vibrant atmosphere, excellent music, and live entertainment truly brought the culture to life. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to experience the heart of Atlanta!
