Got takeout from this place and I have to say it’s definitely the best barbecue you can get in NOLA. Does it meet the top American places? No. Does it come close? Yes! I’d give their brisket a 8.5, it had good fat and char, the slices were a little thick and dried out quick but they’d be better in house. The flavour was there but just didn’t have that melt in your mouth goodness. The 9/10 sausage was a pleasant surprise, don’t normally get it this good in bbq spots. Awesome juiciness for its size. The ribs and chicken were pretty good but nothing stood out. The pulled pork was quite an afterthought. Same with the sides - pretty average. The cornbread had really good flavour but was a little dry for my liking. I really like that they do a plate option where you get a little bit of everything. The overall service was excellent and it’s a really friendly place! Highly recommended.

This review is so overdue! I visited The Joint on June 12th. Looking back on my work trip to New Orleans, I think this is my favorite restaurant we went to! The atmosphere was fun and eclectic. Every team member we came in contact with was friendly and kind! I ordered the Sausage Plate with a salad and macaroni and cheese. Everything was AMAZING! I added some photos of what my coworkers had too!! Thank you, The Joint!

Love this place.. I've been here several times , tried everything on the menu twice. Always fresh , Never dried out brisket or chicken. Sides are always on point. Flavorful and juicy.

The Joint has the best bbq in New Orleans. The restaurant is tucked away but definitely worth the ride. The meat gets in the doors but the sides will make you come back for more. The Joint coleslaw is the absolute best. A crisp and tangy flavor that compliments the brisket and ribs perfectly. Don’t forget to try the beans and of course complete your order with the cornbread. P.S get a limeade slushy on your way out!

This place is THE pride of New Orleans. Amazing food that is out of this world! If you can, because they sell out quick, try everything. I'm not joking. Ribs - Amazing. Brisket - Incredible. Sausage - Insanely delicious. Even the sides are meticulously made to perfection. You will not be disappointed!!!
