Stopped in as they had a few German dishes. Food was not authentic German, but had really good taste. Sourkraut had a sweet garlic taste, with carrots in it... Was different but tasty. Wurst was good, and rather large. The fries are more like grilled potato slices, and pretty decent, could use a bit more seasoning. The schnitzel was a great cut of pork, breaded and pan fried on the light side. Was really good though. The yager gravy on the schnitzel was a brown gravy with small chunks of mushrooms in it. The gravy didn't have much flavor, reminded me of biscuits and gravy type gravy, except brown. Believe it could be spiced up a bit, and salted to taste. All in all, it was a really good dinner, and glad we stopped.
Atmosphere was ok... Music playing sounded like an upscale restaurant, but definitely did not appear as such. It was clean, and the staff friendly. Food and atmosphere follows more of a Russian, Ukrainian vibe, and choices. I'm not mad though, thought the portions were good, prices good, service and food were good. We were looking for more German selections, but this was certainly a good find regardless. They do honor veterans as well.
